Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Accereth collects when you visit accereth.com or buy from us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Accereth is a trade name of AVD Collective LLC, a Nevada limited liability company ("we", "us").

2. Information we collect

You give us:

  • Contact and identity details: name, email address, phone number (optional), shipping and billing address.
  • Order details: what you bought, sizes, prices, discounts used, delivery and exchange history, and store credit.
  • Payment details: entered on our checkout and processed by Shopify Payments. We don't see or store your full card number.
  • Messages: what you send us by email or our contact form.
  • Reviews: if you leave a review, its text and rating, any photos you add, and any fit answers you choose to give (for example height, size bought, how it fit).
  • Marketing choices: whether you signed up for emails (and, if you tick that box at checkout, text messages), and the sign-up form you used.
  • Tea subscriptions: if you subscribe to a tea, your subscription plan, delivery schedule and the changes you make to it.

Collected automatically when you use the site:

  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, approximate location based on IP address, pages and products you view, items you add to your cart, checkout steps, the website or ad that brought you to us, and the time of your visit.
  • This is collected through cookies, pixels and similar tools placed by us and by the companies named in section 4.

From other companies:

  • If you sign up through a form on Facebook or Instagram (for example an early-access list), Meta sends us the details you entered in that form.

We don't collect Social Security numbers, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

3. How we use it

  • To take, pack, ship and track your order, handle exchanges, store credit and the refunds described in our policies, and answer your questions.
  • To send order and shipping emails (these are part of your purchase), and to run tea subscriptions you started.
  • To send marketing emails if you signed up. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
  • To show and moderate reviews.
  • To measure how our site and ads perform, and to show our ads to people likely to be interested, including you.
  • To prevent fraud, keep the site secure and meet our legal, tax and accounting duties.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with the businesses that help us run the store, and only what each needs. Some of them (Klaviyo, Meta and Google) are named here before we switch them on for our emails and ads, so this list already covers them:

  • Shopify (our store platform and checkout, including Shopify Payments and Shop Pay): all of the information above, to run the site and process payments.
  • Our fulfillment and shipping providers: your name, shipping address, phone number if given, and the pieces ordered, so they can pack and ship your order and handle exchanges.
  • Shipping carriers: your name and shipping address, to deliver your package.
  • Klaviyo: your email address, name, order history, sign-up choices and your activity on our site, to send our emails and show sign-up forms.
  • Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram), through the Meta pixel and Conversions API: your activity on our site (pages and products viewed, cart and checkout actions, purchases) together with hashed contact details, to measure our ads and show ads.
  • Google Analytics (Google LLC), through the Google & YouTube app on our store: your activity on our site (pages and products viewed, cart and checkout events, purchases) and your device and approximate location, to measure how our site performs. You can opt out on our Your privacy choices page, also linked in our footer.
  • Google (Merchant Center, through the Google & YouTube app): our product information (titles, prices, availability and images), to show our products on Google. This doesn't include information about you.
  • Trustoo (our reviews app): if you leave or are asked for a review, your name, email and order details, and your activity on our product pages, to send review requests, publish reviews and measure how reviews are viewed.
  • Seal Subscriptions: if you subscribe to a tea, your name, email, shipping address and subscription details, to run your subscription and let you skip, change or cancel it. Payments for subscriptions are processed by Shopify.
  • Our email provider: the messages you send us.
  • Professional advisers and authorities: when needed for accounting, tax or legal reasons, or to protect our rights.
  • A buyer of our business: if the business is ever sold, your information would move with it under this policy.

We don't sell covered information as Nevada law (NRS 603A.333) defines a sale, and we don't receive money for your information.

5. Tracking across websites

Yes: third parties may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use our site. Meta collects activity through its pixel and uses it for ad measurement and to show ads on its apps and other sites. Klaviyo records site activity linked to your email once you're signed up. Google Analytics records how you use our site so we can measure it. Trustoo records how review widgets on our product pages are viewed. Our site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. You can limit this tracking with the choices in section 8.

6. Nevada residents: do-not-sell requests

Nevada residents may ask us not to sell their covered information. We don't sell it, but you can still send a request. Our designated request address is support@accereth.com (subject line: "Nevada do-not-sell request"). We respond within 60 days.

7. Reviewing or changing your information

Email support@accereth.com to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you have an account, you can also update your details there. We respond within 30 days. We keep order records we're required to keep for tax and accounting even after a deletion request.

8. Your choices

  • Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. We act on it within 10 business days, and usually right away.
  • Text messages: we only text you if you ticked the text-message box. Reply STOP to any text to opt out.
  • Ads and tracking: use our Your privacy choices page (also linked in our footer) to opt out of the use of your site activity for targeted ads. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and adjust ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram settings.
  • Reviews: email us to remove a review you wrote.

9. How long we keep it

We keep order and payment records for as long as tax and accounting rules require (generally up to 7 years). We keep marketing data while you stay subscribed; after you unsubscribe we keep only what we need to honor that choice. Site activity data is kept by those providers under their own retention settings.

10. Security

Payments run on Shopify's checkout. We limit who can see your information and use the security tools our providers offer. No online service is completely secure, so please email us if you think something is wrong.

11. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we post the new version here with a new effective date. If the change is material, we also show a notice on our homepage for 30 days and email customers and subscribers whose email we have.

12. Where we operate

We sell only to customers in the United States, and your information is processed in the United States.
